Biography: Michael J. Kunyk was born on May 20, 1915, in New York County, New York.
Service Time: Michael enlisted in the Army on August 26, 1941, at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and entered active duty on Sept. 26, 1941. He is listed on 6th Tank Destroyer Group payroll roster of 7-28-43. He left the service at the rank of T/5.
Michael passed awy on Oct. 14, 2003, and was buried in the Calverton Nation Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
