Service Time: Listed on 6th TD Group payroll roster of 7-28-43. His name does not show up on the wooden shoes that were signed while the unit was in France. In addition, some of his Tank Destroyer uniform components, ended up on Ebay and they include a Combat Infantry Badge. From this, I believe he must have transferred out of the unit and into an infantry unit, probably prior to him shipping to Europe.
