Dad shipped to England with the 772 as a courier with a Harley Davidson. I have a pic of him at Fort Leonard Wood on the bike....still hoping to find a family that might have someone that knew him. Thank you, Dave Patton

My Grandfather Lester M. Ross served in the HQ Company of the 661st Tank Battalion. My Father Lester Leroy was the one to provide a photo of the Company. My father Lester Leroy just passed away and i am now going through the family history and I am very appreciative that sites like this exist.
Keep up the good work!

What a wonderful site. I have been trying to find anything about my grandpa and his time in the war. He died at age 60 in 1980 when I was 8 now I’m 53. He was the one that wrote the HQ company A journal or at least that is his name at the bottom of the 1st 3-4 or so pages. I found an excerpt of that journal entry years ago but could never find the rest till now. Thank you. I would love to show it to my dad. I’m sure he would love to see it as well. Thanks, Mike.

Michael Gammicchia

I always knew my Uncle Michael Gammicchia was in a tank destroyer unit. I see his name under Unit “C” soldiers. Anymore information on my Uncle would be appreciated. Dates in what area so I can read about what his unit did.
Where can I find more information?
Thank you and God Bless

Looking for information on my grandfather's (Pfc. Harry D. Federico) unit during the Bulge. He was captured at Wiltz 12/19/44 and marched to Muhlburg Germany to Stalag IV B.
Truly appreciate any information- fellow soldiers who were POWs with him, or who served in rear eschelon (he was a cook).
Thanks in advance!

My Grandfather Stephen Sleeper was in the 635th. I have a picture of his DD214 certificate. I'm looking for any photos, or references to his participation, actions, or involvement with the unit from 1941 through summer of 1945. Is anyone still alive from this time frame? I know there are a a very few remaining individuals who are still with us. Please reach out if you know anyone..peace love and respect for those who served. Go 635th!
