My dad George Garcia was ***gned to Recon Co. He was a PFC. He transferred to the Air Corps after the war and retired an Air Force Senior Master Sergeant in 1970. He made it to one 69th Infantry Division reunion in 1978, but passed away from a heart attack in 1979.
