Dear Tank Destroyer:
Blessing!! I enjoyed visiting the website very much. I wanted to make you aware that there is an error under the 774th, Company "C." You have the name Darrel T. Duncan from Charlotte, North Carolina. It should be Carrol T. Duncan. He is my grandfather. We discovered this error while my son was working on a school project. Thank you for your attention in this matter. Sincerely, Paul Noe, North Augusta, South Carolina

My Grandfather was SSG Charles McIntyre of the 634 TD Recon Co. He passed in 2004 but not before he shared many stories of his time in Europe, LA, and TX. I have many photos I can scan from training to war pictures in Europe. I have a class picture as well from his TD school class.

Hi My great uncle was S-Sgt Mike Lowsoski. He was in HHC 704. He had a buddy Niedwick, John from PA. and another buddy Blair but no info on him found so far. Your site really aided in filling in some info on my search as I did not know what company he was in, I saw he and his buddy Niedwick's name in the roster list thanks. Do you know what duties a ssgt would do in HHC during this time. Any info would be helpful thanks.

Thank you for your hard work in putting this site together. My father, Richard Rancourt, served with the 643 TD BAT. I have been researching his military career during WWII in order to share it with my children and grandchildren. Your website as well as Ben's have been extremely helpful. I have some pictures from my fathers scrapbook if you are interested. Just let me know and I will be happy to send. Again, thank you!

My father was John Joseph Dunnigan. He passed away in 1985. He served in the 612th Tank Destroyer Battalion. I still have parts of his Army uniform, duffel bag, maps, photos and other memorabilia that I would like to find a good "home" for. They are in very good condition and I would like to honor his memory in some small way. Please feel free to contact me.

My father, Edward Alvin (Tex) Sweatfield served as a TD driver with the 808TD BN. Dad was killed by a wind blown falling tree near his cabin in Utah in 2006 at the age of 83. I have photos of his unit, TD and friends that I will be happy to scan for this fine web site. This site honors many fine men who did their duty.
