Paula Edmonds

  • This has been an incredible find! My husband's uncle was a member of 823rd TD bn. He lost his life on Oct 14, 1944 fighting along all these men. Reading all this information has been ***. It feels like we understand what he was doing, where he was going and since he was apart of Co. B, he must have been doing a bang up job. Thanks to the people who put this all together. I feel as I was able to walk with my grandfather thru his stories and the info you have provided, til the moment he last his leg from a land mine.   • I have field training pictures taken with a handheld camera of Co. "A" of the 773rd TDB prior to them leaving TN - CONUS and shipping off to Europe. Many of these pctures have identifying first names and surnames and their families might like to have them...can anyone point me in the right direction of the 773 survivors and/or their families?   • When I was a teen in the 1980s I had an Army field coat I wore just about everywhere. I had only one patch sewn in it. The 802nd which I bought from a vendor at a flea market. I was proud to wear it even though I joined the Navy later in life.
