• My dad, Doyle Fincher, served with 3rd Platoon, Reconnaissance Battalion, 633 TD. it was a treat seeing his Unit History on your site. I have his copy, but haven't been able to locate it since we moved. I also saw the group photo of the Reconnaissance Company provided by Paul Stevens and was interested in the date of the photo. I was was trying to locate my dad in it without success.

• Hello all. My Dad's brother was with the 603rd TD. He was killed on April 13th, 1945 in Groitzsch Germany. All Of my relatives that had information about his death are deceased. Anyone with pictures or any information about that battle in Groitzsch would be gracious received.

• My dad Paul J. Cole was with the 661 TD battalion 69th infantry division. He turned 99 years old 2 months ago. He is now in a nursing home in failing health. I ask for prayers that he does not suffer. Thank you to all veterans and especially those that served around him.

• My father was Cpl Walter Rovenger. Going through his personal effects I found a picture of his unit, wives included at a reunion on May 17, 1947 just 3 months before he was married. Does anyone remember him and can anyone fill in the details of his service overseas. I only know bits and pieces.

• My Father, George Holb, served in the 3rd PLT C co 602 T.D.B.N. from Sept 1944 thru Oct 1945. I just found this website and thank you to everyone that served and made this website. It really helps me understand just a little more about my Father and where he was and what he did. Words cannot my express my gratitude. I have group picture of 17 soldiers from the 602 T.D. in Mainburg Germany.

• My Grandfather served in the 633rd Tank Destroyer Battalion. It was great to find this site and see his picture as a young man. I am proud of his service and wish I had spoken to him more about it when I was a young man myself. God bless all who served and sacrificed. Ben
