Woody Gebhart

  • Sir, my name is Woody Gebhart. I am the Deputy CDR for the 434th FA Brigade. Our lineage traces directly back to the 1st TD Brigade. We have the 1st TD colors flying [cased and displayed] in our HQs. I would really like to connect with the society and build a relationship. Our mission is Basic Training. Paul Kalich

  • My father Gilbert F Kalich of the 640th Tank Battalion passed in his sleep on 11-22-16 just after 3:00 pm with me by his side. He lived a long full life passing just over 96 years and 8 months in age.

Sharon Stahl

  • My uncle, Floyd R. Willis, W2131791, Warrant Officer for the Battalion Company of 691st Tank Destroyer Battalion, served in WWII and died April 5, 1945. He was in the company of a Tec 4 Earl R. Anderson, parts procurer. Floyd was killed and Earl was wounded. I am looking for information on what happened on their 40 mile trip to pick up vitally needed parts. I'm hoping someone knew Floyd. I would like to correspond with them. Sharon

Pat Setford

  • My Father was James E. Bulger and he served in the 801st Tank Destroyer Unit during WWll. He fought at Normandy, Paris, Germany and in Belgium. He retired as a Major. From Albany NY.

John Fincher

  • My dad, Doyle Fincher, served with 3rd Platoon, Reconnaissance Battalion, 633 TD. it was a treat seeing his Unit History on your site. I have his copy, but haven't been able to locate it since we moved. I also saw the group photo of the Reconnaissance Company provided by Paul Stevens and was interested in the date of the photo. I was was trying to locate my dad in it without success.

  • Clayton Saunders passed away on August 16, 2016. He was with the 819th.

Mark Cox

  • Hello all. My Dad's brother was with the 603rd TD. He was killed on April 13th, 1945 in Groitzsch Germany. All Of my relatives that had information about his death are deceased. Anyone with pictures or any information about that battle in Groitzsch would be gracious received.

Paul R. Cole

  • My dad Paul J. Cole was with the 661 TD battalion 69th infantry division. He turned 99 years old 2 months ago. He is now in a nursing home in failing health. I ask for prayers that he does not suffer. Thank you to all veterans and especially those that served around him.
