My Grandfather served in the 633rd Tank Destroyer Battalion. It was great to find this site and see his picture as a young man. I am proud of his service and wish I had spoken to him more about it when I was a young man myself. God bless all who served and sacrificed.

My dad,Joseph Paul Mickanis served with 805th TD Bn. Company B . He never said a word about WWII. He passed in1976. I did attend a reunion in the 90's and met a few of the men he served with. My dad had some Tunisian money (paper) that he wrote a note to his gal (my mom) with about 10 signatures of his buds on it. In preparation of attending I made several copies of the money and I gave them to several of the men who signed it. That was awesome.God bless them all.

My father was LCol Claude Hass. I have a diary which belonged to one member of the unit. I need a fairly detailed list of where the unit was in operation, hoping to follow those steps in summer, 2017. I would really appreciate your help.

My father, C. C. Putnam, was in the 802. I'd be interested in any reunions of surviving family members from that group.

My wife's uncle, Cpl. Andrew Morgan of the 803 TDS, was MIA at Aachen Oct.22, 1944. My basic research on this site helped to lead the family to the true facts of his loss. It also helped me retrieve records and document the places and events he participated in. Thank you for an informative and helpful site. If anyone knew him or can contribute additional information, please feel free to contact me at the above email. Thanks, again- Rolland1
