My dad, Percy Bryant was a tank driver in 705th. Have his discharge papers but seeing his name on the roster just confirms his service to me.

My Father, Irving Green, was at the Staff Sergeants HQTRS, July 44-April 45, under Capts. Zach and Minton, can not make out the Majors name. That is what I can find on a Merit Certificate he was given.

My father, Leroy Moore, according to his discharge papers, served with the 603rd TDB as an armorer (50cal gunner). I can find no records of his specific unit during that portion of his WWII service, although I have a great deal of info on his service as a ball turret gunner on B-17's at Thorpe Abbotts, England. He apparently was shifted from flight status to ground infantry status. How can I go about finding a listing of units or rosters affiliated with the 603rd.that might give me an indication as to his service from just before D-Day to the Battle of the Bulge and the eventual freeing of the interred at Buchenwald? Any direction would be sincerely appreciated.

My dad, Earl Walker TD 807th. He now has started telling me stories. Wondering if 807 is having a reunion or if any of them are even still alive?

Greetings from Fort Hood, Texas and the 3d Cavalry Regiment. We are starting the process of requesting unit lineage for the 603rd Tank Destroyer BN as part of our realignment of the Regiment. 703rd was attached to 3d Cav Group in WWII. We have an anti-armor company that we want to rename the 603rd Tank Destroyer Company. Would like to talk to someone with extensive knowlegde of the unit about this. Thanks

Great site and history. First time I've found the dates I have from my grandfather anywhere. He was in the 672nd and told me some great memories. RIP Cpl Earl W Emery, 1918-1999
