:)
My father served in 632 Bn, Co. B,on Leyte.
I would be very happy to find company rosters, maps, photos, and etc.
I did find through this site the battalion orders and reports for the battle. Great! Unfortunately, Co. B was assigned to the 1 Cav Div, and their reports are scanty.

So glad I was able to contribute information about my Dad, J. Laverne Nicklas, and am grateful for all those who were able to give me information I didn't have. Wish I had known about the 607th reunions while they were happening.

Found the website today after looking at the wwiimemorial.com site and looked up the unit my father was with during that time. I wish I had found it sooner and wish my Dad was around to see it also. Thank you vey much for keeping the unit history alive.

My grandfather Glen R. Stevens served in the 705th tank destroyer and was at Bastogne - being able to see the roster of his unit, his assignments, and follow the unit's progress through the war is really neat. Thank you for this website.

My Dad is Charlie Brown (C. H. Brown Jr.)and served with the 648 Tank Destroyer Batallion during WWII. He was wounded in the battle in Sauubruken and was beside Pfc Aldo Poloni who was KIA. He lives in Amarillo, is 88, and has a burning desire to establish contact with the next of kin of Poloni, probably in California. He knows that Poloni had two sisters, but wih marriages and changes of name, they may be difficult to contact. If anyone can help or would like to visit with my Dad, please contact me via email and I'll make it happen. I would really like to visit with Gary Payne. Thanks

My father was a member of C.co,506th PIR,101st Airborne. His company entered Noville which was being heavily attacked by the Krauts (his word). Five enemy tanks attacked his position, when suddenly out of nowhere a 705th TD appeared. The first shot knocked out the lead, and the second the trail. it then destroyed the center three with three rounds. Five tanks...five kills. Thanks for my Dad. Jeff Scoggins
