I would to thank you for doing this. My Father was in the 658. For a # of years I have been a WWII reenactor doing the 658 Am. Trac. Bn. I have been wanting to do a web site for a long time. Being busy and not very handy with a computer I was un able to do it. So Thank you again.

Continuing research. Found out that John didn't work at Dachau camp. He worked at the railroad station in the town of Dachau...the only name I can find for this depot is "Dachau Station." and his brother worked a warehouse there.
They were part of a Quartermaster Company, still unknown. John states he wasn't with the 6th TDG nor the 5th Constabulary, but says they were part of an 16 man Army unit, housed in the town of Dachau for disbursement of
D.P parcels.
Also says 444th Trucking Battalion provided transportation, however unable to find any info on this group.
Anyone has any info on the above, would appreciate it.

My dad, Joseph Patton- Paciorkowski was in the 772nd. at the Battle of the Bulge. Is there anyone out there who has a dad or does remember him?
