• It is important that we never forget the courage, strength and sacrifice those have made before us to ensure we can live free as Americans. This website plays an important role in helping achieve remembrance of these great men and women. I didn't know my grandfather, Leonard J. Boteler that well due to my father being a soldier and our family constantly moving around the world. Once I was able to spend more time with him it was cut short due to his passing. This website helps me put not just a face to the man I didn't know, but character, reason, and understanding as well. Let us also not forget the wives and husbands of these soldiers for their sacrifices made here at home. Thank you Rob for all your help! God Bless!

• This is Awesome..I love my grandfather and pray to him and my grandmother everynight..they both Created an *** family that we have today..very strong people..My Grandpa was a Stronggg Man..and i see it n all his children...Always Looking up grandpa...his wife was an angel if u knew her...miss going to their house when i was little..RIP

• My father was in the 658th, his name was Sherwin (Sonny) Leibovitz. He was from Chicago, IL…later moving to Detroit and then to Southern California. He passed away in 2006.

• I'm continually amazed, and pleased, to see so many family members of TD soldiers visiting this website. I do encourage all of you to contribute your photos, historical documents, memorabilia, etc. to Rob for inclusion here, as it is the only all inclusive Tank Destroyer website in existence. The work being done here is important to preserve the history of each TD battalion, individually and collectively. Rob and his crew have done a fantastic job here as you can see. • Signing for my Dad, who fought in North Africa & Anzio with the 701st TD Btn, Co. B. He will be 92 years old in January 2012, but is in poor health. Purple Heart, Bronze Star, terrible injuries sustained March 1, 1944. Originally from Salt Lake City, UT, graduate of Univ Of Utah.
