Honorees

There were over 110,000 men who served in tank destroyer units and much of their history and stories are being lost as time goes by.  The articles in this section contain short biographies, most with photos, of Tank Destroyer veterans.  The biographies are alphabetized by the soldiers last name.  Just click on a letter to be taken to the appropriate listing.

If you are a TD veteran, or know of one, and can provide at least one photo of him, along with some information about his life, we would like to hear from you.  You can use the Contact link, or the Honor a Veteran Form on the Home page, to get the information and materials to us. These biographies are a great way to honor these men and let the public know of their wartime deeds, sacrifices and lives, both pre and post-war.
