Tank Destroyer Reconnaissance at Anzio was written by Captain Lewis A. Clarke, FA, who was the Commander of the Recon Company of the 701st TD Bn. during most of the period of March 1 to May 25, 1944 (actual Mar. 13 to May 7). Tte Editor mentions that he has first-hand knowledge of the action on the Anzio Beachhead.
T.D. Battle Lessons is the second portion of the text which provides insight into some of the difficulties and solutions identified by the soldiers of the 821st TD Bn.
