We were contacted by someone named Ellen whose husband's great uncle served in the 812th Tank Destroyer Battalion. She made us aware through the Guestbook, that she had found a photo labelled "Commando" Murphy. The photo is believed to have been taken at Camp Gordon, Georgia, while the unit was stationed there.
