816th TD Battalion
Well known for its many appearances around North and South Camps of Camp Hood, Texas, the 816th Tank Destroyer Battalion Band was split last week with the transfer of some of the players to other units. Shown at a recent Service Club 2 appearance, the band included, left to right: Pvts Frank Calistro, Thomas Meeder, PFC George McElroy, Pvts Alfred Monaco, Ralph Barrus, T-5 Harold Norem, PFC Claire F.
