My Father, Charles D. Burrier, Sr. was in the 692nd TDBn. He was in Headquarters Company, I tried to enter him in your Honor Registry on the homepage but the Outlook Express button would not work for me. I am grateful for this site as it might help me to research more about Dad, he died of cancer on May 3, 1988, he didn't talk much about the war and I might be able to find out about his experience. Thank You.

I did not get to meet Ralph and wife Katherine until December, 1988. They raised 5 wonderful children which any parents could be very blessed with and very proud of. They made me feel like I had been part of the family all my life. I also know that Ralph did his part in keeping and maintaining our freedom and life as we know it. Thanking all of our military in their wonderful jobs they do. We miss Ralph and Katherine very much.

My father Robert L. Gibson was a member of the 636th, I think in Company C, he passed away in May 2002. Dad did not speak alot about his time in war until I joined when he was 65, and then it was just bits and peices. Always told me never to volunteer and not to trust the officers.

My dad was in the 629th TD Battalion. It's great to see a website devoted to the brave citizen-soldiers who manned tank destroyers.
