  • I came here looking to see if I could find information on an 805th Battalion member named Basil Antonelli. Does anyone know any surviving members of the 805th? For that matter is anyone in possession of any information about the 805th that may have been handed down? Basil was specifically in "A" company and died at Monte Cassino on february 4, 1944.

  • its great to see that these men that gave their time and in some cases their lives are still being remembered and honored today.my wife's father albert a wix fought along side these men in europe.mr wix and mr streetman both lived in the winston ga area when they died.my wife and me along with our son and her mother attended the baton rogue la reunion and met some of men of this outstanding unit.i would like to say god bless all these men and their famllies both living and deceased. sincerely fred e crews and family
