Hello, I am requesting assistance with obtaining info regarding my father CPL Bruno Lopez' service as a member of Company A, 640th TD Bn. He served in Pacific with 1st Cavalry and was at Liberation of Philippines. Can anyone help???

My dad served in the 803rd Tank Destroyer Battalion. Battery C 384th Field Artillary. He was wounded July 31 1944 in Le Mesnil Herman Normandy France. His rank was Tec.5 Edward A.Quist U.S.Army. I served 8yrs. in the Army myself. Oct. 85-93. I have a album book The Fith Infantry Division in the ETO. I was trying to do some more research on the battalion & battles that he may have been in. any help would be appreciated thank you. Jon Quist

I found the group picture and it was the 631st Tank Destroyer Battalion he served with in WWII. I remember over the years that he and First Sergeant Jamie Coker of Memphis, TN remained very good friends.

I found a Unit Photo of HHC 661st TD among my fathers things after he passed. Lester Marvin Ross was one of the soldiers in the photo. He was born in 1911 so was one of the older soldiers in the unit, I have posted it on My Facebook web site. Under Lester L Ross from Iowa. My Dads Rank my guess was PFC from his discharge papers. He talked very little about his war experiences but I am researching what I can find about him or his in it.
