My dad, Samuel T Jones was a sergeant in the 771st tank destroyer battalion that served in France, Germany, Poland and Austria in WWII. He died in 1974 at the age of 53. I am so proud of him and his valiant service in the army.

Thank you for your tribute to my father Lee Wilson (Jack) Conor. I remember my parents taking my son Ben to one of the 636th reunions when he was a little boy. I have photos of him surrounded by many brave and courageous men. I will treasure them always.

My father, Donald H. Drennan served with the XIII Corps in the Signal Corps.
I recorded a documentary at one of their reunions. I interviewed as many of the men as I could who wanted to participate.
I was looking around here for photos.

My father, Robert M. Warren, was a member of the 692nd Tank Destroyer Battalion C Company. I have his discharge papers and other memorabilia, including a map detailing the route from Belgium through Germany from October 1944 - May 1945. On the back of the map, the "unforgettables" were also referred to as "Chico warriors."
