Fantastic Website! I am doing research for my wife, her Uncle served in the 601st Tank Destroyer Battlion and was killed in action 29 April 1945. I am searching for any information anyone may have about Pvt. Jesus V. Covarrubias S/N: 39277912 currently he is buried at the American Cemetary in Alsace Lorrane. Any information at all regarding his service and how he was killed would be greatly appreciated.

Very Nice site! I am the Command Historian for the SC National Guard Unit: 1st BN 178th FA. We have a shared linegage with the 813th TD as two of our batteries were used to form the 813th. When it's time for me to explore this branch of our history, I'll be back. Keep up the good work!

My Father, Glenn H. Curry, Jr. served in the 774th Tank Destroyer Division. Dad never talked about the war. I am just learning about some of his experiences through your website and others like it. Thanks for this labor of love.

I truly enjoy this site. I am slightly disappointed that there is no information on the 661 TDBN Headquarters Company. That is the company my grandfather and a few vets I know, were in. Every year, the 661 TDBN has a reunion. We have 9 living Veterans that attend. I enjoy learning what I can from them, but they don't have many memories of my grandfather and I am interested in his unit and his war days.
