Great Website ! My Dad (Andrew Phillips) served with the 703rd. I think he was with B Company. He drove the M10 and then the M36. Dad passed away at 87 on 07/29/10. I am trying to put together what information I have as well as the pictures of my father and his TD crew, as a remembrance of him.
My Uncle (William Phillips) served with the 803rd C company as a TD driver. He is still alive and doing well at 85 years of age. I plan to do the same for him.

My father was James Thomas Laubenthal. He served in the 671st TDB on Leyte and I would very much like to hear from anyone who has any information at all about him or his unit. He was a Sgt and I believe his nickname was 'Curly". He spoke very little about his experience and he passed in 1987 leaving me with many unanswered questions...

8) Outstanding site. I keep hearing people say let us not forget our veterans but saying it and doing something about it are entirely different. Keep up the good work. I just submitted my Uncle who was killed in his tank crossing the Rhine River just before Germany surrendered. He never got to see his only child, a daughter, who was born while he was overseas. Now my Aunt and his daughter are gone. Wish something like this came along before now.

Thank you for the awesome write up about my Grandfather and for putting him on your page. It really makes me proud to see him on a site with his peers. So, thank you again for doing this, my family and I appreciate it!

Wonderful website. Retired armor officer, served as the BN S4 and HHC Co Cdr in 3-73 Armor Bn (Airborne) in the 82nd ABN DIV. The M551A1 Sheridan had much in common with the TD force of WWII. Fast, hard hitting and THIN ARMOR!
Keep up the good work, the TD force needs to be remembered.
Respectfully,

I want to say thanks to all that has made this web page, and for honoring my grandfather, Sutton, Claude A. My grandfather is a loving and kind man and is a good example to live by. If I can be half the man he is, I will have lived a good life.
