  • Hello, I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to mention my great grandfather Gratton Taliaferro. I never got to meet that man but I did write to him a couple of times! I am a Veteran of the Iraqi War 2009-2010. I served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and am currently on IRR status. He was a heck of a man!

  • A friend told me about this site when they saw my father's (Robert E. Palmer of Columbus, Ohio) WWII book with the same tiger face. I have a lot of things my dad kept from WWII. I had no idea anyone had anything related to WWII and the 893 Division on the internet! My father was a sargent in 5 major battles including the Bulge. I am interested in attending a reunion as my friend said the reunion will be in Ohio. Debbie

  • I believe my father Raymond A. Pratt Jr. from Rockdale Texas was in the 821st Tank Destroyer battalion. He was severely wounded and sent back home in 1945 thank you sooo much for this site......Mark L Pratt

  • My dad George Garcia served with the 661st TD Battalion. He stayed in the Army after the war tranfering to the Air Corps in 1946, he retired from the Air Force in 1970 as a Master Segeant.
