I visited the site for the first time today and enjoyed looking at all the information. My dads name is Christmas Arena and he server in the 771st tank battlion. He received a purple heart in World War two. He is now 96 years young.

My father, Victor A. Martelli, was in the 607th Tank Destroyer Battalion, Company C. He was wounded in May of 1945 and was eventually returned to the U.S. for continued medical attention. He is currently in a nursing home facility in California.

Hello - I am the son of William A Brees T/5 He was in the 607th to the best of my knowledge - he drove a half track - He was shot somewhere in Germany after the war was over - he was transferred to Cushing Army Hospital In Boston Ma, He died there a short time later - I was 3 years old at the time - If anybody knew him , I would like to hear from you
